Position - Project Logistics Coordinator Location - Houston, TX 77077 Duration - 1.5 years + Pay Rate - $34/hour on W2 Role Overview We are seeking a detail-orientedProject Logistics Coordinatorto support logistics activities within a large-scale project environment. This role will act as a key interface between procurement, expediting, inspection, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination, shipment visibility, and timely delivery of materials. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with logistics service providers to track and monitor shipment status Identify and escalate potential delays or risks impacting delivery timelines Support freight quote requests and logistics forecasting activities Prepare and maintain logistics reports for internal and external stakeholders Assist in resolving freight invoice and payment-related issues Collaborate with project teams to support logistics strategies for equipment movement Investigate process non-compliance, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, expediting, and vendors Required Qualifications Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fieldOR5+ years of relevant experience Experience in project logistics or supply chain coordination Strong understanding of shipment tracking, reporting, and vendor coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience supportingcapital or mega projects(EPC, oil & gas, construction, etc.) Exposure to freight forwarding or logistics contract management Familiarity with SAP or Smart Materials Experience working in multicultural or global project environments Work Environment Hybrid schedule (Onsite + Remote flexibility) Collaborative, fast-paced project environment Opportunity to work on long-term, large-scale projects Interview Process Initial interview via Microsoft Teams Final in-person interview (if required) GTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
