Special Education Teacher in Danielson, CT
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support for students in grades 2 through 12 across various programs, including behavior-focused and academic intensive learning.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students in resource and intensive learning settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational regulations.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification.
Experience working with students in grades 2-12, particularly within behavior programs and academic resource settings.
Strong knowledge of K-12 special education curriculum and instructional methods.
Ability to manage classroom environments effectively for a range of student abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, administrators, and families.
