Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty, assist patients in meeting self-care and daily needs./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliAssists patients with feeding, walking, transferring and personal hygiene./liliPerforms procedures such as dispensing/retrieving bedpans, using skin care products./liliReports observations and outcomes of activities performed to the nursing staff./liliAssist with mobility and positioning of residents./liliFollowing care plans and ensuring residents comfort and safety./liliRecords and reports vital signs./li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, Abilities/h3ulliAbility to deal with a variety of patients, staff, health care providers, and community representatives./liliKnowledge of standard practices, rules and regulations related to licensed practical nursing./liliDemonstrate the willingness and ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others. Be flexible and demonstrate teamwork./liliCompassionate and patient demeanor./li/ulh3Education/Experience/h3ulliThree to six months experience in SNF setting./liliHigh School Diploma or equivalent./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliValid CNA certification in the state of California/li/ulh3Pre-Employment Requirements/h3pEmployment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and health clearance which includes a physical exam, TB testing, and immunization review./ppCIH is an equal opportunity employer/ppFlexible schedule. 12 hour shifts./p/div
