It’s time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions is looking for a Bindery Equipment Operator at their Duluth, GA facility to help serve customers’ needs. This person will play a pivotal role in the overall efficient operation of our bindery and finishing departments.Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your ResponsibilitiesRead job ticket to ensure that all required work is performed on each jobCut to size, fold, stitch, punch, coil, cuts, glue, or otherwise finish the product according to job ticket instructionsComplete tasks as directed by production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customersAttach appropriate labels and tags to products and packagesPack finished products into correct packages and boxesExamine finished products for quality assuranceReport defective materials or questionable quality issues to the department Supervisor or LeadPlace finished goods on the designated locationPerform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required to reduce problems, maintain quality, and minimize costly repairs and downtimeMaintains the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules and regulationsFollow standard work methods and prescribed safety practices to ensure production is as efficient and as safe as possibleYour Shift: 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday 2pm - 12:30amYou Must HaveAbility to read, and interpret general instructions and numerical data, and follow directionsBasic math skillsMust be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary to finish products: Punching and stitching machines, coiling machines, cutters, and other bindery equipmentAbility to manage multiple tasks and projectsPunctual and willing to work overtime as neededAble to work with minimum supervisionRequirements Within This PositionAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain on your feet in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)About TaylorOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
