Associate Vice President Strategic Partnerships
The Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships (AVP) is a newly created role within a prestigious and globally recognized higher education institution. The client is renowned for its groundbreaking research and significant contributions to academia and society. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the sustainability and vitality of the health system associated with the client. The AVP will lead a team to forge strategic partnerships that align with the client's mission to enhance healthcare access and improve the health of the community. This position requires collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including health leadership and government agencies, to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that supports the client's healthcare goals across the state.
The AVP will report directly to the Executive Vice President of the health division and will be responsible for executing strategic partnerships that support policy and regulatory objectives. This includes working closely with the clients academic health centers on initiatives to enhance financial sustainability, particularly in the context of Medi?Cal and Medicare. The goal is to support regional strategies, secure necessary resources, and identify opportunities for impactful collaborations that ensure the financial stability of healthcare services. This strategic leadership position is instrumental in enabling the clients medical facilities and community partners to deliver essential healthcare services to all those in need.
Candidates for the AVP role are expected to have a decade of executive leadership experience in healthcare or related sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, a proven track record in developing strategic partnerships, and expertise in public health insurance financing and policy advocacy. The role demands someone who is action-oriented, with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire diverse groups to achieve common goals for a sustainable system.
