In this role, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications that power our clients' businesses. You will gain hands-on experience with modern Java frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies, all while receiving mentorship and guidance to accelerate your professional growth.Your primary responsibilities will include:Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code following industry best practices, including proper exception handling and logging.Assisting in the development of RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, and integrating third-party services via REST and messaging queues.Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and share knowledge with peers.Debugging and resolving software defects, and performing root-cause analysis using debugging tools and logs.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.Writing and executing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito, and contributing to test-driven development (TDD) practices.Working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and managing schema changes.Utilizing version control systems like Git for source code management, and adhering to branching and merging strategies.Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and using project management tools like Jira.Continuously learning new technologies and frameworks to stay current with industry trends, and sharing insights with the team.Documenting code, APIs, and technical processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java and object-oriented programming principles. You should be comfortable with basic data structures and algorithms, and have some exposure to web development concepts such as HTTP, REST, and JSON. Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle is a plus.
