Design Liaison EngineerPay Range: $61.22hr - $66.22hr The Design Liaison Engineer will be responsible for supporting engineering design activities related to gas turbine hardware and other rotating machinery. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformance issues, apply mechanical assessments, and ensure product quality and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Requirement/Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Relevant mechanical engineering experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery, specifically hot gas path components. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, materials, and coatings. Experience in non-conformance dispositioning using mechanical engineering assessments. Familiarity with Ansys, NX, and other analytical tools. Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional global organization. Self-motivated, open-minded, humble, and committed to continuous learning. Ability to rapidly adapt to shifting business priorities. Should Have: Gas turbine engineering experience. Manufacturing experience. Proficiency in lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control. Knowledge of HGP components, including NX and GD&T. Experience with advanced manufacturing processes. Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with team members and partner organizations. Customer-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on quality. Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive improvement.
