The role is based in Los Gatos, CA, Ventura, CA, or Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, or a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Key responsibilities include conducting field investigations, performing engineering analyses, preparing technical reports, and providing construction observation and testing. Experience with limit equilibrium slope stability analysis, numerical modeling, surveying, drone piloting, photogrammetry, and CAD is desirable but not required. The candidate should possess excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Provide construction observation and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications. Utilize surveying equipment, CAD software, and other tools to support engineering projects. Assist with drone piloting and photogrammetry for site assessments (if applicable). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project designs.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, or a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
