Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to assist our culinary team in preparing delicious dishes. The Prep Cook will be responsible for ensuring all ingredients are properly prepped and ready for cooking.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure all food meets quality standards before being served
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering operations
- Basic knife skills and culinary techniques
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in food safety is a plus
