Join Our Team as a Dynamic Business Analyst in Danville, CA We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven professional to join our Asset Failure Analysis team. This remote role offers the flexibility of working from home while supporting PG&E's mission to enhance system reliability and reduce wildfire risks. Candidates should be available for occasional in-person meetings in San Ramon, CA, a few times per year. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational efficiency.Develop dashboards, reports, and models to support various departments including compliance, operations, strategy, and wildfire risk.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and measure performance against business goals.Prepare and present findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.Support ongoing improvement of data integrity and analytics capabilities.Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and transformation for reporting and ad hoc analysis. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.2 years of experience in a business analytics or data-focused role.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.).Proven experience analyzing and visualizing complex datasets.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. PreferencesExperience with the Palantir Foundry platform or similar enterprise analytics tools.Familiarity with the utility industry or infrastructure-related projects.Exposure to SQL, Python, or other data querying languages (a plus, not required).Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
