Non CDL Driver / General Laborer

Immediate opening available Location: Sherwood, OR St. Pauly Textile Inc. is a growing essential business looking for hard-working, safety oriented, non-CDL drivers, who will also perform general laborer duties. Our team works daytime hours, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday work. According to the EPA, 85% of clothing in the U.S. is thrown away. This means that only about 15% of clothing that could potentially be re-used are collected using existing methods. There is an enormous global need for used clothing. We are able to distribute clothing to organizations and people all over the world who could use it. All of the clothing and textiles that we collect are used by someone somewhere We're building a local eco-friendly staffed 3-4 person team that takes pride in servicing our clothing collection shed partners. Our team is supported by a family ownership group, strong management team, and long term customers. Skills & Responsibilities: Drive a Non-CDL box truck Load and unload bags of clothing Help maintain all clothing shed locations Perform work in all weather conditions Perform assigned tasks according to policy and procedures Willing to follow safety guidelines Ability to lift 50lbs or more consistently Able to work in a team driven environment Qualifications: A valid driver's license A clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen Company Info: St. Pauly Textile Inc. is a Western NY based, family owned for-profit company and an A+ member of the Better Business Bureau.
