Front Office Administrative Assistant

This position is responsible for providing a broad spectrum of support in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Carson Group Advanced Solutions Tax & Accounting is full-service accounting and tax firm located in Colorado Springs. We serve a diverse clientele of individuals, partnerships and corporations providing a wide array of legendary financial services.
What You’ll Do:
Provide a broad spectrum of administrative and reception support in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Answer and route phone calls to a large team.
Greet clients with a warm welcome as soon as they arrive and determine their needs with outstanding customer service skills.
Be well informed and ready to assist with office equipment, computers and technology needs.
Extensive calendaring through Microsoft Outlook for all team members.
Schedule meetings and conference rooms.
Keep a tidy and safe reception area.
Coordinate mail flow in and out of the office.
Supply Management including ordering and tracking, organizing and maintaining it neatly.
Coordinate office activities.
Helping with kitchen responsibilities such as making coffee, organizing and cleaning.
Opening and closing the office.
Process incoming documents from clients.
Help plan office events.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
The Essentials:
3 + years of demonstrable reception and administrative experience preferred.
Advanced technology skills: Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel required; QuickBooks, Lacerte or other tax software a plus.
Superior organizational and follow-through skills with strong attention given to details and deadlines.
Ability to operate with a sense of urgency but still provide exceptional product by ensuring the accuracy and quality control of all work product.
Excellent skills in organization, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as work cooperatively with all levels of management, employees, and clientele.
Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data.
Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods of the year.
Be a positive influence to all stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
