We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer II to join a growing Network Security DevOps organization focused on modernizing enterprise firewall and network security services across global environments.🚨 Hiring: Network Security Engineer II📍 Location: Spring, TX 77389📄 Contract: 12+ Months with potential for Extension/Full-Time ConversionKey Skills Required:Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA/FTD, Juniper SRXAutomation: Ansible, Terraform, PythonCloud Connectivity: AWS & AzureResponsibilities:Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall environmentsManage Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper firewall platformsBuild infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, GitHub, YAML, and Jinja2Support cloud-based virtual firewalls in AWS and AzureTroubleshoot network/security incidents using FortiAnalyzer and SplunkParticipate in global operations and on-call supportCollaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teamsRequired Experience:5+ years in Network Security Engineering/OperationsStrong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, DNS, routing/switchingHands-on experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer preferredNice to Have:Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferredSD-WAN exposureDatadog / AlgoSecAgile/SAFe experienceSecurity certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, CISSP, GIAC)
