Control Engineer

Job Title: Control EngineerLocation: Benson, MN Job Description & Skill Requirement:Key Responsibilities:• Author, configure, and deploy Pivot ware process control modules to guide operators through complex assembly steps.• Interface DC electric torque tools, scanners, and pick-to-light systems with the Pivotware platform.• Utilize Proplanner software to manage the Manufacturing Bill of Materials, routing, and time studies, ensuring seamless data flow to the shop floor.• Design and integrate Detect-It AI vision inspection systems for part presence, orientation, and defect detection.• Specify, position, and calibrate industrial cameras, lenses, and lighting environments.• Program and validate vision algorithms to eliminate escape defects and reduce false-reject rates.• Design and modify PLC logic (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and HMI screens to coordinate with assembly software.• Review electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and network architectures (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).• Lead the physical installation, debugging, and buy-off of automated assembly cells.Priority 1:• Desoutter Pivotware implementation• Proplanner (PPL / Assembly Planner)• PLC Programming – Rockwell / Siemens• Detect-It Vision Inspection or similar AI vision systems• Automated assembly process integration• 5+ years in automotive, agricultural equipment, or high-volume manufacturingPriority 2:• DC electric torque tool integration• Barcode scanners and pick-to-light systems• HMI development and modification• Industrial networking: EtherNet/IP, Profinet• Manufacturing BOM, routing, and time studies• Assembly line installation, debugging, and buy-offEducation & Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience• Background in automotive, agricultural equipment, or high-volume assembly manufacturingBenefits: Eligible employees may have access to benefits offered by Intellectt Inc. in accordance with the applicable benefit plans and eligibility requirements.Equal Employment Opportunity:Intellectt Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
