Overview We are searching for an Enterprise Project Manager IV for our healthcare client. In this position you will manage large-scale, very complex projects or multiple related projects (projects) in support of one particular mission or business theme. The Project Manager IV oversees all aspects of complex projects or programs, such as change in direction, scope, benefits, costs, and timing while minimizing financial risks and oversees the project activities of multiple project managers and works closely with management to ensure successful delivery of the project to department standards. Base pay range $60.00/hr - $80.00/hr Responsibilities Be responsible for project delivery and outcomes through effective project planning, task definition, scope management, resource allocation and negotiation, risk mitigation, cost management, and stakeholder communication to successful completion; accountable for the quality and timeliness of all defined projects, and for issues (goals, resource allocation, release planning, technology architecture, etc.) within the projects. Be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing very complex IT programs to meet organizational goals. Maintain the efficiency of important aspects of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment. Ensure integration of projects and adjust project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business. Communicate with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes. Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to Project Managers. Provide team leadership and guidance in the planning and implementation of project success; assemble project team, assign responsibilities, identify resources and guide team members. Manage the overall project plan(s), prepare and present project plans and status reports to leadership, project teams and client/customer groups; define, collect and analyze metrics to ensure projects are on target. Manage inter-project dependencies and issues, coordinating and directing activities of project managers involved in dependent projects as appropriate. Provide guidance for business case documentation, project justification (including ROI), project plans, meetings, communications, quality assurance, and turnover; manage sponsor-initiated pre-project launch activities. Support the project through executive sponsorship engagement and serve as the primary interface with the Directing Sponsor and senior management to ensure intended business results. Minimize delivery execution duration by decreasing average duration of delivery work components. Plan, direct, coordinate and report project management activities in accordance with PMO policies and standards. Mentor and develop project management skills in project managers. Proactively recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness. Responsible for the effective execution of approximately $10-15 million dollars of project work annually. Who we're searching for/About you Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools. Demonstrated portfolio of successful, progressive project management with at least ten years of experience including leadership roles in the execution of large-scale, concurrent projects (greater than $10 million with a team of 75 plus). Experience with Budgeting, Change Management, Client Management, Project Management Methodology and Business Life Cycle, Mission /Vision/Strategy, Project Planning and Organization, Risk Management and Resource Management. Success in establishing specific deliverables for staff assigned to large scale, complex projects. Success at meeting project budget, timelines, requirement targets and managing variances. Experience working proactively with business sponsors and partners to identify and implement solutions; skilled in risk assessment and contingency planning. Success mentoring and developing project management skills in others. Experience with multiple software development lifecycles and related methodologies. Experience interfacing with multiple support disciplines and operating in a matrixed organization. Expertise in the use of automated project management software tools. Strong leadership with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate with clients. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to generate creative solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills including writing, presenting, listening, and facilitating. Ability to negotiate for competing resources and generate consensus among multiple priorities. Desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment with evolving priorities; flexible to collaborate with people at all levels. Typically, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 10 years of project/program management experience or equivalent. Required Licenses, Certifications, Registration, Etc. Certificate in Project Management strongly preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong plus.
