VP, Digital Marketing & BrandRemote - must be located in the EASTERN TIME ZONE ***This role requires hands on DTC paid media and marketing experience ideally with a start up ***Our client is a well-funded consumer products startup building a new generation of thoughtfully designed home products. Backed by experienced operators with a strong track record in consumer products, retail, and eCommerce, the company is preparing for commercial launch across DTC, eCommerce, and major retail channels.This is a foundational marketing leadership role for someone who loves building from the ground up. The Head of, Digital Marketing & Brand will be the company’s first marketing hire and will own digital growth, brand strategy, creative, agency management, budget, and subsequent team buildout.The OpportunityLead marketing from 0 to 1 for a well-funded, high-growth consumer products startupOwn both brand and performance marketing across DTC, eCommerce, and retail channelsBuild and execute the digital acquisition strategy, with a strong focus on paid social and emerging mobile-first platformsPartner directly with the founding team to shape brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, and customer growthManage external creative, brand, and media agencies while building the internal team over timeWhat You’ll OwnDigital marketing strategy across paid social, performance media, mobile-first channels, and emerging consumer platformsPaid acquisition programs across Meta, TikTok, Snap, and other relevant channelsInfluencer, creator, and brand partnership programs to drive awareness and customer acquisitionMedia budget planning, allocation, testing, reporting, and performance optimizationBrand and creative direction in partnership with external agency partnerseCommerce growth strategy, including Shopify, conversion, retention, and customer journey optimizationAgency and vendor management across creative, media, performance, and brandFuture marketing team buildout as the company scalesWhat We’re Looking For5–10+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally within DTC, eCommerce, consumer products, retail, home, lifestyle, or physical productsDeep paid social and performance marketing expertise, especially across Meta, TikTok, Snap, mobile apps, and emerging channelsExperience building or scaling a consumer brand in a startup or high-growth environmentStrong eCommerce knowledge, including Shopify and conversion strategyAbility to balance brand storytelling with performance metrics, testing, and optimizationExperience managing agencies, creative partners, influencers, and/or performance media teamsStrong executive presence and comfort advising founders and senior leadersHands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build in a fast-moving 0-to-1 environmentPassion for innovative, design-forward products and sustainability is a plusWhy This RoleFirst senior marketing hire with real ownership from day oneWell-funded startup preparing for commercial launchExperienced founding team with a proven consumer products track recordOpportunity to build a brand across DTC, eCommerce, and retail channelsReal budget, autonomy, equity potential, and room to build a teamCompensation: $150,000–$225,000 annually, depending on level and experience, plus potential incentives bonus.
