Join us!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suiteVerify and set-up all pre-game/event ordersIdentify suite host and properly introduce yourselfTake and place game day food and beverage ordersSet-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the eventReplenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as neededMaintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the eventObtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely mannerClear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suiteReset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or managerOther duties may be assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceMinimum of one year experience in foodservice position requiredPrevious supervisory experience preferredMust be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit checkSkills and AbilitiesExcellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service StandardsAbility to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service trainingKnowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plansStrong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan aheadHighly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environmentOther QualificationsMust have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyaltyMust follow all ASM Global and SAVOR policies and proceduresMust be present for all major events at the ArenaPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
