We are located at the new Amazon station WWV9 at 215 Polymer Dr, Davisville, WV, 26142This is a Full-Time Driver position with JAJB LOGISTICS LLC delivering packages to Amazon customers!We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.We are looking for team players who desire to grow with the CompanyMilitary veterans are welcome!Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatoryAs we grow, supervisory roles will be availableBenefits & Scheduling:Start at $21.50/hour paid biweekly10-hour shifts are typical4 or 5 day workweek 30 to 40 hours is typicalSchedule planned to be front and back end. (Sunday through Wednesday and Wednesday to Saturday). Flexible Schedule, it can be discussed .Expect daytime shift.A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal breakOpportunity for performance incentives and bonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance (Note: Employees who work on average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance)Paid time off (PTO) begins accruing immediately at start of employmentRequirements:Must be at least 21 years oldMust hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's licenseMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug ScreeningMust have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)Key Duties & Responsibilities:Successfully handle and deliver packages on timeSafely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicleFollow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policiesProvide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditionsKeep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locationsCommunicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completedUse smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team membersLoad and unload packages in delivery vehicleSupport the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routesEquipment Provided:Delivery Vehicle & GasHandheld technologyUniformsOther safety and administrative gear necessary for job accomplishmentHIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE.
