Manufacturing Engineering ManagerWe are looking for Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of Engineers to work on Automation. Work will involve new automated equipment as well improving existing equipment. Some of the types of automation equipment includes Robotics, Vision Systems, PLC's, HMI's, Servo Systems, Electrical Panels & also pneumatic Systems - as Manufacturing Cells or Assembly lines. The company is a global Manufacturing company with extensive presence in US, Europe and some presence in Asia. This is a 500 person facility, in Indianapolis. Their total sales are $4B/year. The company has been in business since 1995. The Indy facility is modern, state-of-the art facility, an environment where engineers thrive.DescriptionTechnical Leadership: Manage a team of 10 Engineers... Act as lead for complex engineering items and provide technical guidance to the Engineering team, while interacting with Operations and Maintenance.Skills:7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering working with Automation and high-volume manufacturing environment.Should have some experience in PLC Ladder Logic and Robot programming to be able to guide other engineers.Ability to do equipment Integration - tie other equipment such as industrial vision systems and other systems like Motion Control, IOT, Pneumatic and other devices and interfaces along with Industrial networking is a plus (tie equipment together into manufacturing cells or assembly lines for continuous production).Project Management - experience to plan, track and drive results within budget and time constraints.
