3rd Shift Yard Jockey/Driver( CDL Class A License)

Location(s): BERWICK, PA FACILITIES3rd Shift: 12am/midnight-8amAs a Yard Jockey, you will ensure the cleanliness and safety of tractors and trailers, along with hooking up and the movement of empty trailers to open docks for loading or unloading of orders. You will also take trailers to the yard (Loaded/Parts/Empty). You will also maintain fuel levels of tractors.Areas of Responsibilities:Perform Pre-trip of Yard Truck prior to start of shiftMake moves as per Shipping Request (ex: empty to dock 2)Check trailer to make sure there is no product in itInspect Trailers Pre-MovementFill out DVIR noting any exceptionsReport on any repair neededTractor to fuel island at the end of each shift for fuelClean a yard tractor at the end of the shift, inside and outFill out DVIR of any exceptions notedAny other duties given by shipping clerk on duty, or supervisorSAFETY:Inspect trailer for damage and normal wear, and submit work orders as neededComplete any necessary paperworkPerforms moves in a safe mannerEQUIPMENT:Ensure that fuel level is full (Fill if necessary)Maintain paperwork for all movesReturn empty, clean trailers to empty lotPerform all trailer moves as dictated by dispatcher or warehouse/shipping clerkEducation and Experience:Required:* HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT* CDL CLASS A LICENSE
