And that's where you come in:In this part time role, as an Implementation Consultant you will be:Consulting customers on crucial configuration tasks for SaaS platformsSingle sign on (SSO) integration with identity provider platformsData integrations with student information systems, membership management systems, and HR information systemsConfiguration of platform roles and permissionsInstallation and configuration of LTI-compliant third party applicationsEstablishment of an account hierarchy that matches intended platform usageConsulting customers on migration of content from third party platformsWorking with customers to scope and recommend technical solutions, including gathering technical and functional requirementsSupporting the customer with guidance on leveraging APIs for Instructure ProductsProviding consulting to groups of varying sizes, audiences and experience levelsResearching and understanding client needs and objectives to support customization of services, growth of consulting offerings, and improved customer experienceIdentifying areas where additional support, training, or consulting are neededParticipating in team projects that support goals and initiatives of the teamBuilding and maintaining technical documentation regarding integrations and systems involved in implementationsConsulting on how to use JavaScript and CSS overrides in Instructure products where supportedHere is what you will need to know/have:Experience designing and deploying technical solutions in a SaaS environmentTechnical expertise with multiple identity provider authentication systemsExperience and familiarity in working with APIsExperience with a programming language (JavaScript, Ruby, and/or Python are a plus)Outstanding written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and customer focusAbility to conform to shifting priorities and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to engage with a wide variety of audiences, including academics/teachers, administrators and leadership.Ability to use web conferencing technologies and web based tools like Gmail, Google Docs and Google Calendar to coordinate, manage and facilitate sessionsIdeally, you'll also know/have:Working knowledge of technology deployment strategies and best practices, especially in an educational contextExperience building custom reports and data visualizations, and helping customers interpret and understand their dataGet in on all the awesome at Instructure!
