DeConcilis Eye and Vision Center is currently in search of a dedicated and motivated optometrist to join our skilled team on a full-time or part-time basis. With a legacy spanning over 45 years, our practice has been a cornerstone in providing top-tier full-service optometry to the families and residents of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and its surrounding areas. We specialize in visual/medical diagnoses, and medical treatments. Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including electronic medical records, OCT, Humphrey Visual Fields, Eidon camera, Diopsys VEP, and ERG. Responsibilities of the Optometrist: Clinical care, encompassing the medical management of comprehensive ocular health assessment related to systemic diseases Focus on diagnosing and treating ocular diseases Prescription and fitting of contact lenses Recommendation of appropriate patient follow-up and care options Addressing patient inquiries and offering advice on vision and optical matters Mastery of the fundamental principles of optometry and optimal practices for diagnosing and treating eye-related disorders and conditions Establishing enduring patient relationships Provision of pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery Demonstration of a high-level comprehension of optical coherence tomography interpretation for monitoring retinal disease and glaucoma Commitment to practicing within the full extent of one's license Supervision of staff and contribution to the overall practice development Delivery of exceptional customer service in all patient interactions Proficiency in general computer skills Work Hours: Monday: 12pm-6pm Tuesday: 7am-2pm Wednesday: 7am-2pm Thursday: 7am-5pm Friday: 7am-2pm No weekends Full-time candidates may receive insurance coverage, continuing education allowance, PTO, Professional liability insurance coverage, Retirement savings programs with employer match after 1 year, and performance-related bonuses.
