Complies with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and guidelines. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Works with Lead Facility Float to maintain facility in good repair at all times. Works as a Certified Nursing Assistant, only if has completed the requirements, when needed and is flexible in filling multiple roles during the work day.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED; 1-2 years’ experience cooking in an institutional food service setting such as a hospital or nursing home preferred.Ability to complete requirements to obtain Food Handlers Permit.Proof of completion of recognized Certified Nursing Assistant training program preferred.Ability to read, write and follow recipes and menus. Ability to read and comprehend safety rules; operating and maintenance instructions; and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to calculate amounts as associated with adjusting recipes, measurements, proportions, percentages, volume, etc.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Possesses problem solving and troubleshooting skills.This position does not require the team member to maintain a valid driver’s license or to drive a motor vehicle as a part of their regular assigned duties. However, if the team member does elect to drive a motor vehicle while in the performance of their job duties, they must maintain a valid driver’s license in the state in which they reside, and they must comply with state insurance laws governing liability, property damage, and bodily injury.Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.Knowledge and ability to operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, carpet shampooers, carts, heat machine compactors, dollies, ladders, snow removal and related equipment.Knowledge of various cleaning agents and/or chemicals.Is cooperative and flexible in fulfilling role expectations
