Located on a beautiful 160-acre campus, we provide 24-hour care and nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our campus includes residential cottages, a community day services program, and a chapel—offering a peaceful, supportive environment rooted in dignity, compassion, and person-centered care.Position SummaryThe Adult Day Program Instructor is responsible for planning and facilitating meaningful daily activities that promote skill development, independence, and social engagement for individuals attending our day services program. This role plays a key part in enriching the lives of those we serve through structured programming, creativity, and compassionate support.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement daily activities aligned with Individual Habilitation Plans (IHPs)Support individuals in developing life skills, social skills, and community integrationFacilitate recreational, educational, and vocational-based programmingProvide supervision and direct support in a group settingDocument participation, progress, and outcomes accuratelyCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality careMaintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive program environmentAssist with behavioral support strategies as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in human services, education or related field preferred)Experience working with individuals with IDD preferredStrong communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsCreativity and ability to lead group activitiesCompassionate, patient, and team-oriented approachAbility to work onsiteSchedule Daytime hours (typically Monday–Friday)Onsite role within a structured day program settingBenefitsCompetitive payPaid trainingOpportunities for professional growth and advancementSupportive work environmentThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day
