HVAC Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work. This role offers competitive pay, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to work in a dynamic environment with a supportive team.Summary of Role: Responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and assisting with building renovations and special projects.Standard work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and on call rotation as neededResponsibilities:Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club through quality work and professionalism.Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and components.Perform preventive and routine maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.Complete assigned maintenance tasks independently and efficiently.Ensure all work complies with local and state codes.Assist with special construction projects and other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Basic understanding of HVAC systems up to 30 tons.Proficient in tools, materials, and techniques for HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 feet, and work in challenging environments (heights, humid conditions, airborne particles).Strong safety awareness and proper use of tools and equipment.Excellent communication skills and ability to foster positive team relationships.Commitment to AAC's core values.Qualifications:Minimum of 3-years hands-on experience with industrial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.Willingness to continue professional development in Facilities Maintenance.Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends.Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain).Stable work history.Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program for your physical and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment - you!Benefits:Three different UHC Medical Plan OptionsDental InsuranceVision InsuranceEmployer Paid Life Insurance of 1.5 times annual salaryLong Term Disability (Employer paid after 2 years)Paid time off (PTO)Employee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending Account, Dependent Care and Health Savings AccountVoluntary Life and AD&D for team members, spouses and childrenVoluntary Short-Term disability, Critical Illness & Accident401k enrollment after 60 days - team member contribution401k employer contribution (4%) after one year if qualifiedHoliday pay at 1.5 times regular rate on Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, and ThanksgivingComplimentary meals are provided in our team member dining room while on duty
