Application Support/Systems Architect - Aviation Maintenance Systems
We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer / Systems Architect to support a mission-critical aircraft maintenance operations platform used within a live aviation maintenance environment.This role sits at the intersection of enterprise application support, operations, and aviation maintenance systems. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting high-availability production systems, owning incidents through resolution, and working directly with operational business users in fast-paced environments.While direct AMOS experience is highly preferred, we are now open to candidates with strong enterprise systems support or solution architecture backgrounds who can ramp into AMOS post-hire.This is not a project-only or development-focused role. The focus is on live production support, operational stability, integrations, configuration management, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical business systems supporting aircraft maintenance operations.Responsibilities:Support and troubleshoot mission-critical production applications in a live operational environmentOwn and drive incident resolution across application, infrastructure, and integration layersConfigure and manage users, permissions, and application settingsCoordinate application upgrades, patches, releases, and testing activitiesSupport integrations between enterprise systems and third-party applicationsWork directly with operational users to resolve issues and improve system functionalityParticipate in root cause analysis and ongoing system optimization effortsCoordinate with vendors and internal support teams to maintain system reliabilitySupport training, testing, and production environmentsAssist with UAT planning and executionEnsure operational continuity in a high-availability support environmentRequired Qualifications:5+ years supporting enterprise production systems in live operational environmentsExperience in:Tier 3 application supportSystems architectureEnterprise application administrationProduction operations supportIncident managementStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience managing:User access and role-based permissionsApplication configurationIntegrations and system dependenciesAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and business teamsExperience supporting high-availability or mission-critical systemsPreferred Qualifications:AMOS experienceAviation, airline, or MRO systems experienceExperience supporting maintenance operations systemsExperience working with Swiss-AS or similar enterprise operational platformsBackground supporting operational technology or logistics systems
