Position: IT Operations Engineer (MS Power Platform)Location: Chattanooga, TN (REMOTE)Summary:Seeking an experienced Platform Administrator for the Enterprise Data Services team with a heavy emphasis on helping manage Power Platform servers and gateways related to Power BI, Apps, and AutomateNeed an individual to take initiative, identify improvements, actively put plans together that address various aspects of the environment, including architecture, processes, notifications, and precautionary steps to ensure the entire power platform ecosystem is stable and plans are in place for its continued growthOther supplemental platform support might be needed for SAP Analytics Cloud Planning (SACP), Collibra, Actuate, Mulesoft (AMQ), Imperva, Cognos, Tableau, DataIku, Denodo, and Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, MDM, Exchange, IDQ, and MDM) on an as needed basisThis position is Remote with occasional travel to Chattanooga, TNResponsibilities:Serves as the Company technical expert in platform operations engineering and provides daily authoritative advice in support of the engineering design processWorks with peers to analyze performance of components and systems to troubleshoot, evaluate performance, and determine capacityUses root cause analysis, corrective actions, tactical planning, and strategic planning to lead and own areas, including correcting problems, improving response times/methods, and lead long-term investment plans required to provide sufficient support for IT services to the businessActs as coordinator to ensure that infrastructure stays in compliance with configurations, patches, and approved designsActive participant, leader, and owner in the change management process to properly execute change with minimum impact to the services providedActively engaged in improving and automating change processesProvides Tier 3 expert support to IT peers as needed to properly support the IT infrastructure on a 24x7 basis, including on-call duties, shift work, emergency support, vendor coordination, and business coordinationRequirements include travel to various locations away from the primary work siteExpert resource for a broad subject area of technologyAbility to mentor A and B levels on complex issues impacting the infrastructure and Company business processesQualifications:5-7+ years of IT experience, preferably involving MS Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, and Automate)Expert knowledge of middleware platforms, such as, but not limited to:Web Application Servers: IIS, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, ApacheBusiness Intelligence: Cognos, Tableau, OBIEEIntegration: TIBCO, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, InformaticaMobile Computing Platforms: including SOA and security confirmation and management of those platformsFirst- and third-party cloud hosting solutions: VMware, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft AzureIn-depth knowledge and understanding of a broad range of management, compute, and networking technologiesAdvanced knowledge of Windows, VMware, and Unix-based operating systemsA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study; or equivalent education, training, and experienceWhy Join ParadigmAt Paradigm, integrity drives innovation.
