At Halton Company, your wellbeing is our goal.Job Title: Brake OperatorSummary:In this role, the associate is responsible for setup, loading and operating the brake press machine.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.Brake Press Operator must enter data into the computerized control per the job order packet on the Finn Power machine to transfer a cassette of sheet metal from the bay area.Brake Press Operator must be able to transfer sheet metal to mobile table.Brake Press Operator must be able to set-up brake press by manually loading required tools per part specifications.Brake Press Operator must be able to move and manipulate sheet metal in the brake press.Brake Press Operator must be able to utilize hand tools to debur parts.Brake Press Operator must be able to place parts on mobile carts and transfer to the assembly area.Brake Press Operator must maintain a clean and sanitary work area.QualificationsAbility to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.On the job training, training, and certification in operation of heavy equipment, regular training and re-certification required.Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.Use simple mathematics.Comprehend verbal and written instructions in EnglishPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
