Catawba Island Club is a private, resort-style club that has been family owned and operated for over 50-years. We are currently looking for a full or part-time Food Expeditor/Runner for Summer 2026.Position Summary: This maintains food quality standards by overseeing the food production process between the kitchen and the dining rooms along with delivering food to tables. The Expeditor/Runner communicates with the culinary team, servers, customer service team and management to ensure guest satisfaction. The goal of this position is to ensure the accuracy, high quality and speed of the meals for our customers.Experience/RequirementsAbility to multi-task while staying organized in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communicationAble to speak, read, write and understand the English languageCore ResponsibilitiesCommunicate efficiently and professionally with servers, customer service assistants, food runners and managers to ensure flow of food serviceTransport trays of food with great customer service skills to members in various dining facilitiesInvolved in food preparationKnow the facilitySet up workstation following sanitary procedures at beginning of shift and break down at the end of the nightAssist in kitchen clean-up following sanitary policiesComply with Club policies and procedures regarding safety and must report all safety concerns immediatelyAble to complete other duties as assignedMinimum Physical Job RequirementsAbility to reach, bend, kneel, stoop, lift and carry trays up to 40 pounds or more in weightAbility to stand and exert high energy and mobility for periods of up to four (4) hoursSalary: $14 - $15 per hourJob Posted by ApplicantPro
