DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled *DevOps Engineer* to help build, automate, and maintain reliable software delivery and infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with development, operations, security, and quality assurance teams to improve deployment speed, system stability, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. * Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments. * Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability. * Implement logging, alerting, and incident-response processes. * Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. * Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. * Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and operational processes. * Identify and resolve infrastructure, performance, and deployment issues. * Implement security best practices, access controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures. * Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. * Participate in on-call support and production incident resolution when required. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 2+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, systems administration, or a related role. * Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix-based systems. * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. * Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. * Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform. * Knowledge of Git and version-control workflows. * Understanding of networking, security, DNS, HTTP, and database fundamentals. * Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with microservices and distributed systems. * Knowledge of configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. * Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools. * Experience with service meshes, serverless architecture, or cloud-native technologies. * Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer. * Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
