OVERVIEW Vassar College is seeking a full-time Study Abroad Advisor in the Office of International Programs in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role supports student participation in study abroad opportunities through advising, application and enrollment management, scholarship advising, program promotion, communications, and collaboration with global partners and program providers. The position also contributes to the college's broader global engagement initiatives and supports study abroad and exchange partnerships.
Key responsibilities Provide advising for students participating in study abroad and exchange program opportunities
Support application and enrollment management processes
Offer scholarship advising related to abroad opportunities
Promote study abroad program options to students
Coordinate or support re-entry programming for returning students
Manage communications connected to international program activities
Collaborate with global partners and program providers
Support Vassar College study abroad and exchange partnerships
Contribute to the college's global engagement initiatives
