Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual with TIPS certification to join our team as a Bartender at Sin a Loa Tacos & Tequila. As a key member of our beverage team, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, providing attentive service to guests, and contributing to the overall success of our beachfront bar. This position requires weekend availability. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, margaritas, and other beverages with precision and attention to detail, following recipes and ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation. Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations on drink selections and offering insights into our tequila offerings. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing bar supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards. Effectively manage customer transactions, including processing payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate records of sales. Collaborate with the serving staff and kitchen team to ensure timely service and delivery of food and beverages to guests. Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines and regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests at all times. Qualifications: Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting, with a strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and mixology techniques. TIPS certification. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
