Business Manager
The Business Manager will lead operations and financial activities to ensure company productivity and efficiency, including implementing business strategies, evaluating company performance, and closely monitoring financial health.Starting annual salary is $65,000 – $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Applications will be accepted until May 29, 2026.ResponsibilitiesDesigning business strategies and plans to meet the company's goalsProviding strategic management of the accounting and finance functionsDirecting all accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsManaging accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, lien law claims, and 1099sManaging banking, credit cards, reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial reportsGenerating and distributing AIA contracts and billingsMaintaining project overview, project schedule, project closeout, and master project reportsRecommending improvements to ensure the integrity of the company’s financial informationCollaborating with owners on technology decisionsOverseeing software systems implementations and upgradesActing as System Administrator for QuickBooks, Red Team, Levelset, and DocuSignIdentifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements, and annual COI audit Working with the Owners to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning processProviding direct supervision of the Accounts Payable Specialist positionPerforming miscellaneous duties as assignedQualificationsExcellent management and supervisory skillsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsOutstanding leadership abilitiesProficient in database and accounting computer application systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsClear Communicator (on phone, over email, and in person)Consistent PerformanceFast Learner Knowledgeable in the commercial construction industry preferred
