This role works cross-functionally with Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations, and Finance to drive product efficiencies, maintain accurate system data, support cost savings initiatives, and ensure successful on-time product launches.Inventory Control & Accounting Support Conduct weekly physical counts on stock itemsAssist with annual inventory countsReconcile physical and system counts and investigate discrepanciesPrepare and distribute weekly inventory reportsMaintain accurate raw material dimensions and finished goods case dimensionsMaintain unit weights and kg-to-unit conversionsFollow GMP and Food Safety guidelinesSupport additional inventory and accounting duties as assignedProduct Development & Packaging Coordination Support new product development through sample creation and packaging evaluationDetermine and validate pack sizes, case counts, and product configurationsCoordinate new dielines for bags, cigar bands, labels, and packaging componentsGather and validate all product specifications, including: Unit and case weights/dimensionsCountry of Origin (COO)Product names and identifiersCoordinate internal approvals prior to artwork developmentCommunicate finalized specifications to MarketingPlanogram & Assortment Optimization Create and maintain planogramsDevelop optimized product assortments across sales channelsCollaborate with Sales and Marketing on channel strategy alignmentIdentify packaging efficiencies and cost-saving opportunitiesSystem & Data Management Maintain accurate item data across Amplifi, SAP, and WMS systemsManage item setup and ongoing maintenance for all brandsServe as the central data owner for product setup and packaging attributesProject Management & Cross-Functional Coordination Lead product setup and packaging projectsDevelop and manage project timelinesTrack deliverables and communicate risks proactivelyServe as liaison between Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations, and AccountingEnsure packaging decisions drive operational efficiencies and cost savingsRequirements:Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.13 years of experience in inventory control, product data, packaging, or manufacturing.Strong Excel skills required; ERP/WMS experience preferred.Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Physical RequirementsRegularly required to sit, use of hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, talk and hear.Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, and reach with hands and arms.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Work in production environments with moderate noise levels.Redbarn Pet Products is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.Redbarn Pet Products, complies with federal and state disability laws and makes reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
