Wonderful College Prep Academy (WCPA) is a free, public charter network in California's Central Valley committed to providing a world-class education for all students. Founded in 2009 by Lynda and Stewart Resnick, co-owners of The Wonderful Company, WCPA offers two free state-of-the-art TK-12 public charter schools serving 2,400 students in Lost Hills and Delano, California.

Job Description
The Campus Supervisor, under the supervision and direction of the Campus Culture Coordinator, in accordance with the school's management plan, shall have responsibilities for, but not limited to, the following:
Essential Job Functions
Establish rapport with faculty and students to maintain and enhance a positive school environment
Support a positive school culture and school's positive behavior expectations across the campus
Supervise and direct student movement as needed
Monitor general campus, parking lots, and adjacent areas to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff
Report unauthorized or suspicious persons, vehicles, and activities to the administrative staff
Notifies the administrative staff, police, fire department, and other appropriate authorities of security or emergency situations
Assists with fire drills and other emergency building evacuations
Assist in de-escalation with students as needed
Redirect all visitors back to the main office for visitor registration
Work with school administrators and officials in handling serious student offenses
Maintain security records, logs, and reports
Attend and successfully complete all staff development trainings
Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent, required
One to two years' experience providing supervision to middle or high school students, preferred
Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, families, and staff of diverse ethnic, racial, cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds
Ability to successfully pass a background check (including fingerprints) upon official offer and acceptance of a position with WCPA
Skills, Knowledge:
Communicate effectively, in oral and written forms
Problem solve and work as a collaborative team member
Knowledge of school safety practices, preferred
Knowledge of appropriate de-escalation strategies, preferred
Keep and maintain accurate records and communicate in oral and written form.
Pay: $18.00/hour
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm
