Job Location:Corporate IndianapolisPRIMARY PURPOSE:This position is primarily responsible for solving business problems using analytical, technical, and business skills.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:(Includes accountabilities of subordinate positions)Completes process, data, and work-flow analysis activities with limited direction and guidanceCollects and analyzes business requirements using structured methods producing deliverables such as Business Use Cases, Business Architecture Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.Testing and quality assurance of business systems developedParticipates in 'buy verses build' decisionsPerforms 'gap analysis' in evaluation of application software packages and makes recommendations to managementParticipate with other IS staff, customers, and other stakeholders in project reviews, tests, and pilotsIdentify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutionsFoster and maintain good relationships with customers and IS colleagues to meet expected customer service levelsDevelop business relationships and integrate activities with the IS department to ensure successful implementation and support of project and support effortsProject management as assigned (perform at coordinator level)Other responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Fully competent to work at the highest level of all phases of business analysis.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skillsProcess, data, and workflow modelingWorking knowledge of Systems Development Life CycleStrong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business termsCoordinator level Project Management skillsStrong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasksExperience with the Microsoft stack preferred5+ years' experience
