CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Position Summary Basic IDIQ is seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Managers in 4 locations: El Paso, DFW, Colorado Springs and Albuquerque to manage multiple fast-track, multi-discipline projects from RFP through final closeout. This position requires strong leadership, urgency and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams. Key Responsibilities * Manage projects from RFP development through completion and closeout. * Develop scopes of work, drawings and line-item cost proposals. * Negotiate project scope and pricing with clients. * Select, coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades. * Review material submittals and shop drawings. * Coordinate permits, security requirements and project documentation. * Supervise project superintendents and support staff. * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. * Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules and tracking reports. * Attend client meetings, site visits, conferences and inspections. * Implement and monitor quality-control and safety plans. Qualifications * Minimum of 5 years of construction project management or supervisory experience, or 10 years of construction-trade experience. * Experience managing commercial, federal, state or municipal construction projects. * Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines simultaneously. * Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and organizational skills. * Experience managing client and subcontractor relationships. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and email. * Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights or weekends, when required. * Ability to pass a background check and qualify for access to federal or Department of Defense facilities. Preferred Experience * IDIQ, JOC, SABER, federal/DoD, state or municipal or equivalent commercial construction. * Managing 6 to 12 concurrent fast track, design-built and bid build multi-discipline projects ranging from $50,000 to $2.5 million. * Microsoft Project, Procore, e4Clicks, RSMeans, eGordian, eConverge or similar software. * Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field or equivalent real word experience. * OSHA, EM 385-1-1 or USACE Construction Quality Management certifications. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented and committed to completing projects safely, on time and within budget.
