Resident Project Representative (Northern Ohio)

Job Description GRW Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Resident Project Representative. This position is for a full-time position in Northern Ohio.The Resident Project Representative is responsible for reviewing construction plans and specifications and providing full-time on-site construction observation services for the firm's water and wastewater construction projects in an effort to provide further protection to our clients that the project is being constructed in general conformance with the plans and specifications.QUALIFICATIONSAssociate degree (or higher) or Certification/Licensing in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology or a related field, four or more years of direct experience in observation, design, or construction experienceKnowledge and understanding of federal, state, county and local codesThe ability to read, understand, and apply code requirements as they apply to construction situationsThe ability to clearly, accurately, and completely document the completed work, including tracking pay item quantities, as well as identifying defective workThe ability to work under little or no regular supervisionThe ability to maintain an effective working relationship with builders, contractors, consultants, fellow employees, other departments, and the general publicExcellent oral and written English communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with team members and other disciplinesHigh level of organizational & time management skills and attention to detailMust be able to meet deadlines in a demanding environmentExcellent computer skills desiredGRW is looking for individuals eager to develop their technical skills and work on teams with other dedicated employees to complete the projects our clients need.
