Landscaping Estimator and Business Development

Key Responsibilities: Identify Ideal Accounts: Research and identify high-potential accounts for maintenance and snow services. Cold Call Prospects: Initiate contact with targeted prospects to introduce services and build relationships. Sales Appointments: Schedule and conduct face-to-face or virtual meetings with prospective clients to present services and assess their needs. Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and bids that address client needs, highlighting company capabilities and solutions. Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with account managers to draft and negotiate service contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Sales Goal Achievement: Work with the GM and Sales Manager to set and meet ambitious annual, monthly, and weekly sales goals. Pipeline Management: Track and manage leads and opportunities using CRM software to ensure a steady flow of business. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities. Association Membership: Become an active member of two industry associations and attend monthly events to network and represent the company. Community Engagement: Volunteer with one aligned non-profit and participate in local events to strengthen the company’s community presence. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with operations and account managers to ensure seamless handoff from sales to service delivery. Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress toward goals, and market feedback to the management team. Qualifications: Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the maintenance or snow removal industry. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Experience in developing proposals and negotiating contracts. Familiarity with CRM software for tracking leads and managing the sales pipeline. Ability to work independently and meet sales targets. Involvement in industry associations and local community events is a plus.
