Program Manager
Overview
In this role you lead a technical team supporting the RETS program within a defense environment, guiding performance, scheduling, and government liaison. You drive cost-efficient, high-quality service delivery and manage risk and corrective actions across complex programs. You will coordinate with senior stakeholders, oversee lifecycle management, and ensure compliance with DoD processes. This position offers the chance to shape program strategy and optimize cross-functional execution in a secure, mission-driven setting.
ResponsibilitiesOversee staffing and work standards; manage schedules and performance against Government policiesMonitor performance using key parameters; ensure contracted services are deliveredAdvise Government on issues affecting performance or mission accomplishmentIdentify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actionsTrack action items from discussions with Government through resolutionMaintain TO administration emphasizing cost-efficiency, schedule, performance, and qualityIdentify cost reduction opportunities and improvements; report progress at PMRs
Key requirements10+ years managing defense R&D programs or major engineering/development efforts10 years as lead or deputy Program Manager for programs >$100MBachelor's Degree in one of listed engineering or science fieldsLifecycle management expertise for technology design, manufacturing, integration and testing5+ years in highly classified environments (SAP/SCI)5+ years with DoD 5000 DoD acquisition processesStrong stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadershipExperience managing support services contracts of similar scopeExperience with DoW organizational structure and collaboration with R&D program managersUS citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and SAP eligibilityExperience with MS Office and Projectstrong communicationleadership and team coordinationcross-functional collaborationMS OfficeMicrosoft Projectelectromagnetics and radio frequencies (EM/RF) knowledge
