We utilize one-on-one care to foster positive relationships with our clients in order to facilitate their personal success.Job Description:The Art Therapist provides individualized therapeutic sessions for our veterans. This position includes the following:Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.Facilitating therapeutic art activities to foster client growth.Submit weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.Qualifications and Preferred CriteriaATR-BC CertificationExperience with Traumatic Brain InjuryExperience working with veteransExperience working with mental health conditionsExperience working with Post Traumatic Stress DisorderEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be able to travel to current or prospective clients’ homesMust be able to communicate with health care professionals, clients, families, and the general public through verbal and written communicationMust have access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer for HIPAA complianceTrack SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe ReaderImplement patient care plans through home and community goal-related activitiesAble to work independently, manage one’s own time and the time of client(s)All individuals should have the following:ResumeCPR Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)Social Security CardDriver's LicenseBenefits:Flexible work scheduleMileage reimbursementContact Us:For more information about our company, please visit our web site at www.simplestepsllc.com
