About CoatMeWe’re CoatMe, Inc., a family-owned company with over 30 years of experience, a fast-growing company specializing in high-end finishing and panel processing solutions for commercial millwork, woodworking, and manufacturing industries. We focus on making production easier and more efficient for our partners while delivering consistent, high-quality results.About the RoleAt CoatMe, our production process is like a dance. We work with high-end materials and heavy machinery where timing, coordination, and physical flow are everything. We are looking for a Production Assistant who is more than just a pair of hands—we need a sharp mind and a disciplined worker to be the right hand to our Production Manager. This is a role for someone who finds satisfaction in the "physics" of the job: understanding how temperature and viscosity affect a coating, how to follow a technical recipe perfectly, and how to move large panels with a team in a coordinated, safe, and efficient rhythm. What You’ll Do (The ‘Dance’)Physical Coordination: Work in sync with the Production Manager to load, move, and unload large panels through our machinery.Process Adherence: Follow strict SOPs and "recipes" for mixing products and preparing materials. You will learn the language of our materials (wood, coatings, chemicals).Quality Control: Maintain an extreme level of cleanliness and allergy awareness to ensure the environment and the final product are pristine.Shop Support: Assist in set-up, tear-down, and maintenance of woodworking and manufacturing equipment. The Ideal CandidateMathematically Proficient: You are comfortable with measurements, ratios, and basic calculations.Physically Capable: You have no physical limitations; you enjoy active, hands-on work and have great coordination.Quick Study: You have a "high-speed" learning curve. You pick up technical processes quickly and apply critical thinking to avoid errors.Reliable & Professional: You are punctual, have a clean driving record, and take pride in your work ethic.Communication: English proficiency is required to ensure safety and timing on the floor. Spanish is a major plus. Background: Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or a similar high-stakes production environment is preferred. Why Join CoatMe?We have a small, dedicated team, and we value those who show up with energy. While your initial focus will be on perfect execution of our current process, we are looking for someone with the potential to grow into a leadership role.
