Anticipated:Job Title: Discipline Coordinator Wage/Hour Status: ExemptReports to: Director of Student Services Pay Grade: Prof 4 (25/26: $77,685 - $111,794)(Commensurate with Years of experience)Dept./School: Student Services Date Revised: 04/27/26Report Date: July 13, 2026 Days to Work: 199/11 MonthsIn-House applicants must complete the online internal application process in School Springs/TalentEdAll substitutes for Crosby ISD, if applying for a full time job, MUST complete an External ApplicationPrimary Purpose:Provide leadership and coordination to provide an aligned and articulated discipline program for the transportation department and campuses.Qualifications:Education/Certification:Master's degree from accredited universityTexas principal or other appropriate Texas certificateSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learnersAbility to interpret dataStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience:Three years teaching experienceTwo years of experience with campus level discipline managementSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.Major Responsibilities and Duties:Instructional and Program ManagementPlans, improves, and oversees the discipline management program for the transportation department and serve as a liaison to the campuses.Supervise reporting and monitoring of student discipline and work with campus and transportation staff on follow-up investigations.Ensure that students are adequately supervised during non-instructional periods including while on district transportation.Help to develop a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior.Ensure that school and transportation safety rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable.Conduct conferences on student and school issues with parents, students, teachers, and transportation staff.Ensure communication between campuses and the transportation department is timely and effective as it pertains to discipline.Monitor video recordings as needed to investigate discipline and behavior on the bus.Staff DevelopmentPlan and provide staff development for teachers, administrators, and transportation staff on discipline management.Disseminate information regarding current research and significant developments on the state and national levels in area assigned.OtherAssist in communicating information to parent and community members about school and transportation discipline programs.Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.Keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies.Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Working Conditions:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Maintain emotional control under stress.
