You will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, commissioning support, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical leadership for battery energy storage and inverter system. You will interface directly with customers and lead onsite teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Execution Diagnose and repair complex faults related to BESS, PCS, inverters, and transformer systemsConduct commissioning activities including system validation, parameter adjustments, and firmware upgradesAnalyse system logs, SCADA data, and control logic to determine root causesOperate diagnostic tools (balancers, CAN analyzers, firmware tools, SCADA interfaces)Prepare reports and technical documentation that requiredAssist in training new technicians and supporting team developmentOnsite Leadership & Client Interface Lead FST teams to execute maintenance or repair scopesCoordinate daily work plans and resource allocationProvide clear communication to customers, EPCs, and ownersEnsure work quality and schedule adherenceSafety, Compliance & Training Perform work in accordance with NFPA 70E, LOTO, OSHA, and site-specific safety rulesSupport development of SOPs and technical standardsTrain FST and junior engineers on procedures and best practicesQualifications3–8 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, industrial maintenance, or renewable energyAssociate degree or bachelor’s in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical field (or equivalent experience: Experience with BESS, inverters, solar projects, or high-voltage equipment.)Strong understanding of AC/DC systems, single-line diagrams, and control architecturesFamiliarity with CAN tools, multimeters, clamp meters, and other test equipmentAbility to lead teams and work independently under limited supervisionStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to travel 70%-100%Required SkillsExperience with major BESS or inverter OEM equipmentExperience with transformers, switchgear, or protection systemsFamiliarity with utility standards, grid operations, and power markets (preferred but not required)Pay range and compensation packageFull-Time/Hourly, Salary (W2)Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
