This role serves as the liaison between business and technology, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of claims and enrollment data submitted for government risk adjustment programs.The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on SQL and data analysis expertise to support system enhancements, data validation, reporting, and process improvements. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, developers, and data teams throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality solutions that improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Solution DeliveryPartner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production validation.Analyze business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.Create and maintain business process documentation, workflows, and functional specifications.Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate system functionality, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.Conduct post-implementation verification and support production issue resolution.Data Analysis & SQL DevelopmentDevelop complex SQL queries to analyze business issues, validate data, and test system enhancements.Perform data profiling, research, and root cause analysis to identify data quality issues.Manipulate and analyze large healthcare datasets using advanced SQL techniques.Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across multiple systems.Support data reconciliation efforts for claims, enrollment, and regulatory reporting.Data Warehouse & Database SupportSupport the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouses.Develop and maintain Teradata database objects using:FastLoadMultiLoadFastExportBTEQWrite and optimize SQL including:DDL and DML statementsJoins and complex correlated subqueriesRecursive queriesStored ProceduresAggregate and Window FunctionsAnalytical FunctionsCollaborate with database administrators and developers to improve database performance and scalability.Reporting & Business IntelligenceDevelop and maintain operational and management reporting dashboards.Create SQL queries supporting analytical and operational reporting.Enhance reporting capabilities using Excel, VBA, or other reporting technologies.Support ongoing reporting improvements to meet evolving business needs.Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementPartner with internal and external stakeholders to define and implement business rules.Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional project teams.Manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.Recommend process improvements and contribute to operational best practices.Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and strong customer service throughout project delivery.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of Business Systems Analysis, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence experience.Advanced SQL programming skills with experience writing complex queries.Experience with Teradata or other enterprise relational database platforms.Experience supporting data warehouse development and database design.Experience performing data analysis, data validation, and root cause analysis.Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.Preferred QualificationsExperience within healthcare payer organizations.ACA Individual & Family Market (IFM) claims and membership experience.Risk Adjustment experience.Experience with healthcare claims and enrollment data.Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools.Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and VBA.Experience developing dashboards and operational reporting.Experience working with regulatory reporting or government healthcare programs.Technical SkillsRequiredSQL (Advanced)Teradata (or comparable RDBMS)Data AnalysisData WarehousingDatabase Design & DevelopmentBusiness AnalysisSDLCUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Microsoft ExcelPreferredVBABusiness Intelligence & Reporting ToolsAgile / ScrumData ModelingHealthcare Claims & Enrollment DataRisk AdjustmentACA Individual & Family Market
