A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Acute Care/n/nJob Details:/n• Work variable ICU schedule with day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM/n• Full-time position with day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage required/n• Must maintain current New York State registered professional nurse license/n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through RQI system during clinical orientation), NIHSS/n• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire/n• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire/n• Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years/n• TNCC certification recommended within 2 years/n• Provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations/n• Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with Healing Environment principles/n• Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional patient interactions/n• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while promoting teamwork/n• Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience preferred/n• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services to patients across all age groups.
