Job Title – Shelter WorkerLocation – Williston VT or Waterbury VT  (Complete address will be shared with you in First Day instruction mail)Pay Rate – $25/hr. on 1099 All inclusiveJob Type - Contract 3-6 Months (Might extend based on the need)Job Description: (Job responsibilities includes but are not limited to)Administrative Provides the admission, check-in, check-out, and discharge of shelter residents. Maintains constant accountability so that leadership staff can respond to emergencies and account for every person within the facility.Light cleaning and support: Ensures the cleanliness and disinfecting of all shelter areas. (There might be some cleaning required.)Light Food Service Support: Team Responsible for all food service operations on-site: management of food service area, cleanliness of food service and dining areas and setting up and breaking down of serving area.Required Staff Qualifications and Training:o CPR/First Aid (will be offered on site)o Overdose Prevention (will coordinate with state for training)Preferred training:o De-escalation and crisis interventiono Trauma-informed Careo Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance UseJob Type: ContractExpected hours: 12 per day
