Travel RN - Pediatrics - Pediatric Oncology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Infusion position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Hematology/Oncology experience and active NJ or Compact RN license.Job Details• Pediatric Infusion unit in a hospital setting,• Patient population includes all types of childhood cancers and sickle cell patients,• Patient ratio of 1:3,• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday rotation required,• Floating may be required to Pediatrics, Adolescent, PICU Stepdown, and other units based on skillset,• Charting via Epic EMR,• Local candidates are accepted,Job Requirements• Active NJ or Compact RN license required,• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and APHON,• Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology (Hem/Onc) experience required; inpatient or outpatient experience accepted,• Proficiency with Epic EMR required,• Required skills include PEWs, phlebotomy (A-lines, central lines, PICCs), chemotherapy administration and monitoring, and wound care,• Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience preferred,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• Two current professional references required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• No block scheduling; any time off requests must be approved prior to an offer being extended,• Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment,
