Database Administrator (Mainframe, DB2) Experience level: 10+ years. Must have skills: VSAM, DB2, COBOL data structures. Preferred skills: JCL Development. Strong hand‐on experience with IBM DB2 for Z/OS and/or Datacom/DB in an application-focused (developer‐aligned) capacity. Experience working with VSAM datasets and legacy mainframe data structures. Proficiency in SQL tuning and query optimization (DB2). Solid experience with JCL development and troubleshooting. Familiarity with mainframe data extraction/unload utilities and batch processing.
