Expo/Food Runner

*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient food delivery and exceptional customer service in our establishment. *Duties* - Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders - Utilize Aloha POS system to track orders and ensure accuracy - Assist with banquet or large party orders as needed - Support food service staff during peak hours - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper food preparation and handling - Deliver dishes to customers' tables promptly and professionally *Requirements* - Prior experience in a food service environment is preferred - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus - Strong customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Basic knowledge of culinary practices and food handling guidelines Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Physical Setting: Fast casual restaurant Fine dining restaurant Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Experience: Culinary experience: 1 year (Required) Customer service: 1 year (Required) Food handling: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: East Dundee, IL 60118 (Required) Ability to Relocate: East Dundee, IL 60118: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
